2022 Scholarship
This year (2022), Fundoarcu received 27 applications for its annual Scholarship Program from Students of Dominican descent. Thanks to our wonderful Sponsors, we were able to provide seven (7) $1,000 scholarships to our Students – 2 additional awards from last year’s program!
On July 10, 2022 we held our Scholarship Luncheon at El Rincón Caribeño located in Hyde Park, MA. Our Scholarship recipients, along with their Parents, attended the Luncheon where we celebrated their achievements and contributions to the community and presented them with their Scholarship Award.
Our 2022 Scholars are:
Pablo Aponte from the John D. O’Bryant High School who will be attending Wentworth Institute this Fall;
Estephanie Baez Gonzalez, from the John D. O’Bryant School, who will be attending College of the Holy Cross this Fall;
Sachel Borges Arias from the Boston Latin School, who will be attending American University this Fall;
Sofia Cabral from the Dana Hall School who will be attending Stone hill College this Fall;
Yorielis Martinez from the Cristo Rey Boston High School who will be attending Suffolk University this Fall
Jalexcia Peña from the Boston Preparatory Charter School, who will be attending UMass Boston this Fall;
Randy Severino from the MATCH High School who will be attending Northeastern University this Fall.
Este año (2022), Fundoarcu recibió 27 solicitudes para su Programa Anual de Becas de Estudiantes de ascendencia dominicana. Gracias a nuestros maravillosos patrocinadores, pudimos proporcionar siete (7) becas de $1,000 a nuestros estudiantes: ¡2 premios adicionales del programa del año pasado!
El 10 de julio de 2022 llevamos a cabo nuestro Almuerzo de Becas en El Rincón Caribeño ubicado en Hyde Park, MA. Nuestros becarios, junto con sus padres, asistieron al almuerzo donde celebramos sus logros y contribuciones a la comunidad y les entregamos su premio de beca.
